@MarshSongs ❤️from former First Lady of # Minnesota. Thank you for this beautiful rendition of Flowers in Your Hair. Minnesotans needed this. America needed this. The world needed this. Your rendition will go down in the annals of musical history.
This is Craig Erwich, the President of ABC Entertainment. He has the power to put Jimmy Kimmel back on air.

Federal Medicaid does not cover undocumented immigrants.
But it does cover 37 million, including 99% of all foster kids, 41% of all births in this country, and one-third of all kids with cancer.
That is whose health care coverage is being threatened by H.R. 1. (1)
Republicans voted against Medicaid funding for life saving substance use disorder treatment.
Republicans are abandoning American families to give tax breaks to billionaires.
🚨The GOP provision to DEFUND Planned Parenthood is staying in the Big Ugly bill. Clinics will shutter. Women will lose access to cancer screenings, birth control, and basic care.
I will be forcing a vote to try to strip it out.
Fight like hell. We need to kill this bill.
🚨 NEWS ARTICLE: "U.S. House Passes FASD Authorization in the Support Act: Legislation Will Deliver Support to Individuals with FASD" #FASDNPN
"The legislation will provide much-needed national focus and support for FASD prevention and support to those with FASD. Specifically, it will allow the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to promote and fund FASD education and awareness, and promotion of FASD-informed services, as well as resources to States and Tribes to address FASD in their existing systems of care."
What a victory! 👏

Melissa is someone I wish the whole nation knew. We treasured her in Minnesota. She was the epitome of what you want in a public servant – she went into it for all the right reasons.

FASD United CEO Tom Donaldson & COO Jenn Wisdahl joined the @FriendsofNIAAA@NIAAAnews Congressional Briefing to speak on the impact of FASD & the power of alcohol research in prevention & treatment. Proud to elevate voices of those affected. #FASD#NIAAA#AlcoholResearch#Policy
He’s an MIT graduate. She’s a former Miss South Dakota Snow Queen who shot her dog.
Her family came from Norway. His family came from Mexico. Is that the problem?
He’s a former Ca. Secretary of State and US Senator, elected by 6.6 million voters. Noem was elected by 216,000 voters.
In a historic and unprecedented move, all of the institutions at the @NIH have signed on to and sent a letter, the Bethesda Declaration, to the new director, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, about the chaos at the NIH. This is a big deal, as it ultimately impacts all of us. It impacts the research that gets done or not done. It impacts what we know or what we will never know. Let’s see what the response will be, as the director is scheduled to testify before Congress tomorrow about the NIH’s budget.
In other news, speaking of unprecedented, Bhattacharya‘s boss just removed all 17 members of the CDC’s vaccine advisers, saying the group is “plagued with conflicts of interest.”
It’s a chaotic, unprecedented time. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Yes the noise is loud, but we must continue to pay attention to what matters and stay informed and engaged! #abovethenoise
Not shocked, but not one word on prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE) which results in a prevalence of 1 in 20 US youth with #FASD https://t.co/8V1n9izT1a Congress must enact the #FASDRespect Act. @FASDUnited.
It’s out!! The long-awaited report by the Make America Healthy Again Commission to analyze the causes of the chronic disease epidemic in children is finally here. What a watershed moment for American health.
It is a huge first step in not just understanding the root causes of chronic disease, but in starting to change policy and practice to set our children up for a life of health and wellbeing.
Well done to the key teams behind this:
@SecKennedy@DrMakaryFDA@DrJBhattacharya@DrOz and the rest of the Commission!

It’s staring you in plain sight - a conservative estimate of 1 in 20 youth have mental health challenges as a result of prenatal alcohol exposure (#FASD). We know the root cause, but we do not recognize or help these youth. It is time for Congress to pass the #FASDRespect Act.
Our children’s mental health is under siege from a toxic environment—ultra-processed foods, overstimulation, and overmedication. We must protect their mental well-being by addressing the root causes with urgency and truth.
