🔹The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) urges all citizens to avoid stepping out of their homes unless absolutely necessary.

🌳Please maintain a safe distance from trees, dilapidated buildings, hoardings, electric poles, and other hazardous locations.

🚘❌Avoid parking vehicles under trees.

🌊Refrain from visiting beaches or low-lying/waterlogged areas.

🔹Citizens are advised not to believe rumors but to follow instructions and warnings issued through official channels.

🔹Please strictly adhere to the instructions and guidelines issued periodically by the BMC administration and disaster management authorities.

🔹Additionally, citizens are urged to contact BMC’s helpline '1916' for
assistance.

🔹Around 15,000 Bmc staff and officers along with other agencies are working round-the-clock on the field.

🔹Senior officials are also closely monitoring the situation and coordinating necessary measures.

The focus is clear: ensure that the city's daily waste is scientifically treated instead of ending up in landfills. Under the plan, bulk waste generators will be required to process their waste and convert it into compost. To encourage participation, private institutions adopting this model will receive a 5% rebate on property tax along with Green Points, which will contribute to their ranking in the #MumbaiCleanLeague.
