My colleague @fergutierrezro1 giving an excellent talk at #ESHBMFS2024 on the clinical implications of clonal hematopoiesis in #telomere biology disorders 🧬; dependent on specific mutation with U2AF1, TP53, and chr1+ associated with #MDSsm and #AMLsm. @nih_nhlbi @ESHaematology
It's our great pleasure to share our work on the role of CADASIL NOTCH3 mutations in the development of DNMT3A-related Clonal Hematopoiesis. Published now in @LeukemiaJnl
Huge congrats to Raúl Sánchez-Lanzas!!!
Many thanks to @LeukUK@The_MRC

I’m excited to share an R package that we’ve created for mapping scRNA-seq data across normal and malignant hematopoiesis!
We've used this to identify hematopoietic stem cells from healthy tissues and map leukemia cells from hundreds of patients.

🎉Excited to present our latest work out today @Nature 1.What gives a leukemia its phenotype – the oncogenic driver or the differentiation stage of the cell-of-origin? 2.Why do RAS mutations always happen late in AML? 3.Who will relapse after VEN? https://t.co/JAHNAw33wH
iPSC modelling of RAS mutations in AML by the @PapapetrouMDPhD lab demonstrates that order of mutation aquisition matters with significant implications on disease phenotype & response to VEN treatment. Out today in @Nature 🎉
Proud of all authors of our paper showing RUNX1 is activated by CDK9 to promote megakaryocyte fate in primary human progenitors. Let us know what you think!

Congratulations, Teresa!! We are extremely fortunate to have you as an exceptional scientist, mentor, and colleague lead Einstein's DMB department with its distinguished history. I am very excited for the future!!
In this work our labs unveal a new role for NBEA and other BEACH domain containing proteins (BDCOs) in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
NEUROBEACHIN regulates hematopoietic progenitor differentiation and survival by modulating NOTCH activity. https://t.co/rqq1acCr6p
I am proud to present my lab’s first research paper, published online in @LeukemiaJnl today! Check it out https://t.co/T3TNpQEru2
Congrats to first author Emily Stepanchick!
#EHA would like to congratulate this year's #TRTH scholars on completing the spring course.
We would also like to thank our faculty for providing their insights throughout the course.
See more about #TRTH here: https://t.co/RLlqoVeZuO
Had an amazing week attending the @EHA_Hematology@ASH_hematology#TRTH spring course just outside Paris !
Really engaging faculty that helped our proposals shine and an inspiring group of co-scholars 🙌
Can’t wait for Part 2 in Madrid!

Like the relationship between seed and soil, scientist @Marta_Derecka knows a healthy environment enables growth. She is examining the interplay between blood stem cells and the bone marrow microenvironment to better understand hematologic malignancies. https://t.co/ALcjuSCGxl
Another great talk #telomere biology disorder from @marrowgenes@StJude looking from a genetic / pediatric POV. Multi-organ disease = many specialists needed. Ongoing discoveries of new genetic causes; interesting role of somatic rescue. @TeamTelomereInc@EHA_Hematology#EHA2023
