I've heard బలి (బల్యతే దీయతే దేవతాదిభ్యః) and బాలి (వాలి - బాలే కేశే జాతః).

Telugu filmmakers are popularizing రణబాలి and రోమాంచకం, which don't make sense IMO. Happy to be corrected.
