#49ers All-Pro OT Trent Williams said that after his cancer diagnosis his doctors told him they did not know if he would live much longer.

“Every time I go into a locker room, every time I put the helmet on, I flash back to when the doctor told me, ‘Get your affairs in order.’”

His doctors told Trent: “You need to get closer to your girls. It looks pretty serious. I don’t know how long you have left.”

Williams underwent surgery to remove the tumor, losing 30% of his scalp while enduring skin grafts and hundreds of stitches.

Trent beat cancer and has since become a multi-time All-Pro, Pro Bowler, and one of the greatest offensive tackles in #NFL history.

So for him, with no questions, to step in there with no hesitancy, and to stick his face into a defensive lineman, I was really impressed.”
