When a Manjot Sonam Wangchuk is not allowed to enter Delhi with his satyagrahis from Ladakh, it becomes clear that democracy does not exist in India any more, that the Modi government treats peaceful protest as a threat and that the “full integration” with India that Modi and Amit Shah promised when they scrapped Article 370 means denying the people of Ladakh (not to speak of the rest of erstwhile J&K) the most basic of rights guaranteed by the constitution.
