a very sad reality is the way people move on after mistreating you. they’re not sitting up in a room feeling bad thinking about you. most of the time they move on and live perfectly fine after doing you dirty. so release yourself from the shackles of waiting for someone to regret how they mistreated you cause it won’t ever happen.
Trauma makes you please other people and drain yourself by focusing too much on how they feel and making sure they feel okay. Healing makes you realize it's not your responsibility to regulate their emotions, manage their insecurities, and pacify their inner wars.
in my 20’s I’ve learnt that when people know they’ve sabotaged chances to have a healthy connection with you and don’t possess the maturity or humility to repair it, you’ll be painted as the problem to others because they can’t admit their faults. and you have to let them do that
Oct will be filled with love
Oct will be filled with peace
Oct will be filled with healing
Oct will be filled with progress
Oct will be filled with blessings
Oct will be filled with happiness
Oct will be filled with opportunity
Inn’Sha’Allah
Ppl avoid difficult or uncomfortable conversations knowing they may be in the wrong & then call it “protecting their peace”. Like no beloved you’re just spineless and lack accountability but I digress.
Don’t ignore me. You can tell me you don’t wanna talk. You can tell me you need space. Whatever the case.
Radio silence is a hard limit for me. It touches a very vulnerable place in me.
Important convo especially now everyone’s on social Media comparing their relationships. Patricia says she may not get the grand expensive gestures but her man makes her life 1000 times easier, every single day and has done so for years
