@FreeRangePepe@WileELiberal@laurenboebert Concession is largely a ceremonial gesture, it doesn't actually change whether or not the state requires a recount. Even if a candidate concedes, all votes are counted and mandatory recounts are performed if the margin falls within a certain amount.
@gillette_trey@JoeBiden I'm sure there's some truth to that. But also dems are out performing polls, and in a lot of counties dems are performing better than Biden did in 2020, regardless of if the county turns out red or blue. That's my opinion on why Biden's praising voters.
@gillette_trey@JoeBiden Essentially- there was no red wave, so on that account dems did well. And historically in midterms the president's party loses many more seats that what we're seeing happen here.
@gillette_trey@JoeBiden I don't think he's acting like dems already won control of the house and senate, but I would argue that this election dems performed well- much better than anybody expected (outside of the flop in NY).
Pueblo clerk Bo Ortiz just estimated that most of these ballots were from in-person voters.
Appears that most of the ~2,600 in-person ballots have now been reported. There's still ~5,000 mail-in ballots to be tabulated in Pueblo.
@NathanMackBrown I just fell ill last week unfortunately. Double vaxxed double boosted and still came down with a symptomatic case. Was pretty proud of how far I came.
