As images of Capt Smit Macchar’s lacerated scalp surfaced, Dhruv Rathee again faced backlash for claiming in a now-deleted video that "people are saying this is a false flag operation."

In his defense, Rathee argued he was merely quoting others.

This is classic rhetorical framing used to introduce a conspiracy theory and inject baseless claims into public discourse while maintaining plausible deniability.

For an influencer with millions of followers, this is logically flawed and socially irresponsible. The distinction between making an assertion directly and framing it as an external rumor is negligible in terms of audience impact; the moment he amplified an unfounded "false flag" narrative, even wrapped in neutral framing, he granted it visibility and unearned credibility, planting seeds of doubt without taking accountability.

It would have been acceptable had he immediately debunked those rumors as false, baseless conspiracy theories after quoting them. But he didn't. Instead, he simply stated that people were calling it a false flag and suggested waiting for the investigation to find out, leaving an unfounded conspiracy on equal footing with facts.

Imagine a scenario where the world is battling a severe pandemic similar to COVID-19, and a creator states, "People are saying 80% of the world's population will be wiped out, but let's see if it's true or not." It would create immense panic among everyday viewers who trust him, even if he relies on plausible deniability.

There is a clear reason why he ultimately had to delete that video.

This single example is enough to understand Quraishi's objectivity, judgement and bias.

Another protest march is set for Oct 10.

Beneath the facade of a peaceful march, the organizers will repeatedly urge "keep the peace", a calculated ploy to wash their hands of the upcoming chaos. Behind the scenes, the protest will be infiltrated by the usual violent groups, many wearing school backpacks to pass as innocent students. Their objective is to provoke law enforcement by attacking officers, baiting the police into using necessary force. With cameras strategically positioned, they will weaponize the footage to stage a narrative of "state brutality against students" to outrage the public.

By that same evening, a coordinated tweetstorm featuring celebrities and influencers will leverage those exact photos and videos to turn common youth against the state, turn "state oppressing students" into a pop culture trend, and generate widespread support to pressure the govt into yielding, yet again.

This isn't looking good. The govt must handle this head-on. The meeker you act, the more empowered the regime-change machine becomes. At some point, you have to put your foot down and deal with it instead of just playing the "expose" game, which has lost its value now.

Whatever issues people may have with the govt's performance, only common citizens through the ballot have the right to overthrow an elected govt, not a few thousand compulsive protesters in the streets. Their motives, methods and motivation must be squashed once and for all.

NEW: Interrogation of the Omani pilot: the objective was to crash the plane into the terminal building at Ben Gurion Airport.

The assault on the other pilot was timed deliberately. He waited until the aircraft was over Jordan, near Israel, before moving against him.

From that point the plan was to fly a normal landing approach so nothing would appear unusual. Only in the last seconds, once interception was no longer possible, would he turn the aircraft into the terminal.

The plot was thwarted by one decision. The wounded Indian pilot got the cockpit door open at all costs, and that is the only reason the attack did not succeed.

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.

Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

He is a true hero.
