Happy to share joint work with Giuseppe Vitto we presented a few weeks ago in Madrid (soon on ePrint)! We leverage the Graeffe transform to attack Poseidon over NTT-friendly fields — and managed to break reduced-round instances 👀. Links 👇
@HLipmaa As promised, here's Polymath implemented in Rust, for the @arkworks_rs R1CS circuit framework: https://t.co/4dZlMxFlOE
Big thanks to @HLipmaa for clarifying the paper.
BLS12-381 curve precompile: BLS signatures are a signature algorithm providing shorter signatures, no malleability, and aggregation
...wat? well,
- the lack of malleability means it'll be less of a pain in the ass for devs
- shorter signatures means lower gas costs
- you can add up all of the signatures of a whole group and prove that everyone signed (good for big multisigs)
BLS is used also in the consensus layer to aggregate validator signatures. this could be useful for proving that stuff on the execution layer!

just dropped a new paper on eprint!
presenting TaSSLE: a new lookup argument extending the techniques of Lasso. it works with large structured tables, similarly avoiding the need to construct the entire table, but with 1/3 of Lasso's committed vectors.

Lectures I gave recently about KZG, plonk and lookups at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. One interesting thing, see 7.1, is I cleanly reduce plookup to a single multiset check. This is simple in hindsight, but presented in a more complex way in the plookup paper and subsequent blog post.

Is the Ethereum builder market decentralized?

Today I am putting forward a proposal for the "Plaza": A batteries-included, scalable Polkadot System Chain.
This proposal aims to put a broader story and direction behind currently scattered efforts to add smart contracts and lower fees on Polkadot's AssetHub chain.
The new direction I propose is to focus on scaling out AssetHub to the maximum possible level for a single chain and making it a central hub for the ecosystem, complete with smart contracts, bridges, exchange, custodian, and staking integration.
Check out the full proposal at https://t.co/m4jcS0w8h4
⏰Only 3 days left to submit your proposal for #Web3Summit 2024!

cqlin with @LiamEagen, is a new protocol in the line of works starting from caulk;
leveraging the power of pairings beyond polynomial commitment schemes https://t.co/RDSBbhHkC2.
It enables for the first time "addition gates for free" with a universal setup!
Here you go twitter! Ever wondered what zero-knowledge proof composition and recursion is? What's pre-proof recursion? What's Nova, Sangria, IVC, PCD, Halo, and all that weird stuff? Just watch a few short videos and get the ideas: https://t.co/oDxbkk5mhd
@cronokirby@kobigurk We call a light client as a smart contract a bridge. Totally doable, but you have to know the aggregate public key. In https://t.co/LnoyeHwiC8 we propose a snark for that
