@TonyLaneNV If they were on the ground, I expect the perp would have been taken down quickly, however tackling him on the ledge could have resulted in a fall and injury for the police or perp. He wasn’t a danger to anybody else but himself, so retreating makes sense.
@BarbaraPocock Great! Now how about a bill to have audited contract award processes overseen by contract boards comprising qualified senior public servants (i.e. no politicians).
@TMFScottP If you don’t understand the data, how can you possibly know what the problem is, and therefore what you need to do to fix it?
Many current policies encourage people to stay in large, ever increasingly valuable houses, and the taxpayer is often subsidizing their lifestyle.
@TMFScottP Do we have a housing shortage or a housing allocation problem? I would like to see a timeline of occupancy vs # of bedrooms. I anticipate households are getting smaller, driven by tax exempt and means test status of PPOR, Stamp Duty costs, and current boomer cycle.
@TMFScottP If attendance is the best metric they have got to measure a workers performance then they have some major issues with their corporate culture already!
@hosun_chung But Tesla does not control the grid, the cost differential between buying and selling electricity, or the TOD pricing. So any value to customers is at the whim of authorities.
@hosun_chung Potential problems: solar in the UK is good, but not great, and this is the ONLY electricity generation in the plan. Everything else is moving electricity around, which is good as it helps stabilise the grid and helps with peak shaving, but ….2
@JosieMcskimming Why does the perpetrator of this willfull, unlawful activity get to reap the longer term benefits of his actions? Fine and confiscation of property.
@hissgoescobra This seemed far more for the cameras than to achieve any sustainable and just outcome for Ukraine. Real peace talks are done out of the public eye.
