CST’s electronics and communications students are taking part in the Bhutan-1 workshop to learn about satellite technology and Bhutan’s budding space program.
Bhutan-1, a CubeSat, is the Kingdom’s first satellite. It has been designed and built by a team of 4 Bhutanese engineers and will be launched this year to generate basic information for disaster management, environmental conservation, agricultural development and human settlement
The panel judges question Team ‘Trash Off’ - a team which aims for waste management with their mobile app, where you can book a time and date for waste collection.
At @swbhutan, ‘MyDrukRide’ - taxi hailing app was also launched. The founder of ‘MyDrukRide’ is Mr. Jigme Thinley Yoezer Rinzin and 50 taxi drivers who have adopted this service. @tsheringtobgay
