The British establishment will now attempt to replace Starmer with another carefully selected manager and pretend everything has changed. We have seen this movie before. The names change, the speeches change, but the policies remain remarkably similar. Andy Burnham may become prime minister by September, but replacing the captain does not repair a ship that is already taking on water.
@PolitlcsUK@LadyRebecca_1 Lame reporting we know why burnham was elected it was the promise of getting the most hated pm in history out

Imagine being a Brit where your government takes your guns away “for your safety”
Bans tobacco consumption “for your safety”
Bans social media “for your safety”
And then lets barbarians in to rape 250,000 of your women
The dissonance must be astonishing
Brits are prisoners
What Ed Miliband has done to the local economy in Aberdeen is absolutely disgraceful. He has choked off the oil and gas economy because of his net zero claptrap. Absolutely shameful.
The state is doing all it can to take possession of everything - all you have now and all you might need in the future. They would make it that you can have and do nothing but what they permit. This is the audacity of the state now.
I’m not a tech person so maybe this is dumb but isnt it easier to create a “children’s phone” at point of sale so you get a phone with built-in restrictions rather than asking every single person in the country whether they are over 16 or not through hackable digital ID software?
