@schild0r@CNC_Kitchen Annealed PET-CF would be a better choice for this part. Long term heat resistance up to 155C (205C for lighter loads) after annealing.
@CNC_Kitchen@schild0r Fiber reinforced amorphous thermoplastics generally have similar creep performance as their unfilled counterparts, go above the Tg and it will rapidly deform. Semicrystalline polymers benefit from fiber reinforcement and have much better creep performance above Tg.
We’re proud to have @Essentium3D at RAPID + TCT this year! Essentium will be at booth E7625 & they will be showcasing the world’s first industrial 3D printer with independent dual extruders – the HSE™ 280i HT. Attend RAPID + TCT to see more. https://t.co/VS7PLkDtLa
@Mobile_Dom @3dpNero @CNC_Kitchen@toms3dp Makes PP more printable with less warp. Stiffer and stronger. Primary use cases: low cost highly chemical resistant, and low surface energy material for low pressure molding with good release properties.
@MicahJGreen I think the real questions are: 1) is it single layer or multilayer GO and 2) what aspect ratio/particle size distribution. Maybe Pfizer cracked the code on high quality low cost GO production. Hummers method is a pain!
