@YesWeCrann Have to be honest Joe they’ve been awful probably one of the worst in the tournament so far. Hopefully they can turn up in this second half.
@WereAllWeds1867 I was born in Sheffield and moved down south and came back. The amount of Man Utd and Liverpool fans from the south was hilarious! They should be supporting their local teams more which was Reading, Swindon, Cheltenham but they didn’t because they weren’t winning all the time.
@WereAllWeds1867 I think it’s different when you’re not choosing to support one of the best teams in the country. I feel this should be aimed at Man Utd fans who support them because they’ve won things. If anyone supports us and they’re not from Sheffield then they deserve a medal haha!
There seems to be a lot of confusion on the SWFC zero point ruling when comparing to the zero points Derby also received.
Both Clubs paid/are paying 25p in the £ to unsecured creditors.
Derby’s owner completely wrote his debt off. The Wednesday owner was made a sizeable offer.
Derby paid 25p in the £ and left the tax man owed £10’s of millions (EFL Insolvency Policy directs 100p - discretion shown). Wednesday are paying off all owed (100p in the £) to HMRC.
I’m struggling to square why some feel Wednesday should get more than Derby got for exiting Administration when the shortfall to creditors is so much less in the case of SWFC?
Furthermore, the shortfall against EFL Insolvency Policy is also much less in the case of SWFC.
@TWFootball1867 Yeah but the problem is what kind of deal does he want? We know from previous history he’s deluded and his expectations won’t be realistic. You can’t deal with Chansiri… if he had any heart he’d waive the debt and let us move on after all of the pain he’s caused.
@storchyowl Let’s hope the EFL can be sensible here. My concern is if they don’t change their decision on the 15 point deduction then Arise Capital are out. We could be in more dangerous position come the end of the season…
