Itโs weird how certain everyone sounds in their opinions about AI safety (in twitter replies to me).
My academic papers about AI have been cited ~5000 times, so Iโm not completely ignorantโ
and I donโt have a clue.
Maybe yโall could try to be a little less certain too?

Just came across this page in a popular EA text, and thinking how the medium really is the message. That this information is being expressed in this tone is a much better indication of why the problems exist than any of the suggestions in the actual text
