Sri Bala Periyava, Peethadiphathi of of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham himself virtually unveiled the Sankara Vijayam inscriptions of NJ Manimandapam in live and blessed the New Jersey devotees with anugraha bhashanam! 🙏
@sanatan_kannada Just like this a cow comes regularly to our house when she feels hungry as mother feeds food often. Last Krishna Asthami, she came to our house and we felt very blessed. 🙏
Good video capturing discourse of Sringeri Shankaracharya Swami Vidusekhara Bharati.
Title is a bit of a clickbait.
Video in Telugu.
I like the beginning.
Swamiji distinguishing between four types of Hindus.
(I) Assertive Hindus who aren't afraid of asserting their traditions in public
(2) Introvert Hindus who do not want to assert in public but devout in private. Non assertive.
(3) Ignorant Hindus. Those who lack the required knowledge and carry many misconceptions.
(4) Hindus who turn against their own faith because they got carried away by anti-Hindu propaganda.
Swamiji asserts the need to pursue the path of Knowledge/Jnana to understand the intricacies of tradition.
He says that Hindu Dharma is a Vanavasa of sorts. Hence we aren't at a point yet where Bharat can be formally anointed as a Hindu Rashtra.
He assets that Hindu Dharma has no genocidal impulse against any other faith. Hinduism was never a threat to any other religion. Infact for most of recent history it was the opposite if any he says.
He also spoke about
धर्म एव हतो हन्ति धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः ।
तस्माद् धर्मो न हन्तव्यो मा नो धर्मो हतोऽवधीत् ॥
Dharma, when violated, destroys; Dharma, when protected, protects. Therefore, Dharma must not be violated, lest the violated Dharma destroy us.
Some very interesting remarks on Samanya Dharma. He refers to Hindus who have migrated to other countries where they perceive better rule of law etc. He says some of these current day developed countries may appear to be having better governance around Samanya Dharma but they may nevertheless lack a Vishesha Dharma anchor and a Paramarthika anchor.
In this context he also emphasises how Bharatha Desha connection is paramount for Sanatana Dharma.
He also distinguishes Sanatana Dharma from other religions. How Dharma is not prophet/founder based. Dharma being Anaadi and Eternal. Not dependent on prophet's sayings or any man made doctrine.
Lot of commentary on Punarjanma and Karma cycle and Kaarya Kaarana Sambandham.
Lot of commentary also on how to understand Shastra Vakya. Where does Tarka come into play. Importance of context sensitivity etc.
Some explanation around Swapnavasta. Advaita. Jivanmukti. Moksha.
Highly recommended for Telugu folks.

Look at this shameless subhuman bitch. The abuse cases against Das are fabricated and were brought against him to defame him after the kanglu government arrested him. There is no such ongoing case against him. ISKCON was forced to throw him under the bus to avoid ban. (1/2)
+1 Absolutely! Visited 3 yrs back and spoke to one of the archakas in Vinayaka temple in Bikkavolu, he raised his anguish and concerns on how govt treats it like any other building without valuing the sacred Shiva Lingam. Govt should make it functioning with nitya puja.
The Andhra Pradesh government should restore this Chalukyan-era temple and open it to the public as a heritage monument and tourist attraction.
Requesting Shri @PawanKalyan, @ncbn, and @naralokesh garu to kindly look into this and take the necessary steps. 🙏🏽
Bharatiya land is essential for hinduism. All the kshetras and their geological locations has a significance and connection to nava grahas beyond our thinking. The generations of continued Vedic practices around these ksetras holds an energy which isn't possible anywhere else.
How essential is the motherland to the Hindu religion of the diaspora?
Consider a thought experiment:
Imagine 1000 years from now humanity has taken to the stars and is living on many planets, but the Earth has been destroyed by a meteor. Can you imagine Hindu religion still existing in this situation? If so would it be a complete religion or would it be missing something because of the loss of sacred geography?
As far as my own engagement with Hindu religion goes, the answer is unquestionably yes. India matters inasmuch as it's home to the vast majority of Hindus and has historical significance to the development of our heritage, but I don't feel any particular sense of sacredness towards the geography of India itself, particularly given the natural wonders that abound in my own homeland, America.

The amount of trash we discard along our railway tracks is astonishing. Just a few feet away lie beautiful farms, lush greenery. It is heartbreaking that we continue to destroy this sacred land for our future generations
