This woman is so proud of her culture. I have never seen a thing like this. Her dress, accent, behavior & dancing styles, all speak about the same thing- her belief & respect for her culture. I am so proud of her.
Dear @StateDept i'm pretty sure that you're reading the reactions from Nigerians. Literally no one trusts this regime in Nigeria today, let alone its security agencies.
I have tried to explain to frustrated Nigerians that there are nearly no windows open for the United States to carry out unilateral antiterrorism actions in Nigeria without collaborating with the Nigerian authorities, which puts the US in a really tight corner. People have a hard time swallowing that because they know what they live through everyday.
But like i suggested in a recent post, find a very diplomatic way of pivoting to systematic unilateralism but not making it seem that way. And the only way Nigerians can see that and grow their confidence in the United States involvement in this operation is when results - tangible results begin to pour in.
As far as most Nigerians are concerned, this current administration is not serious about destroying the genocidal murderers of our Christian population in Nigeria. To many Nigerians, the administration appear quicker to pardon and integrate bloodthirsty terrorists than they are to protect Nigerians from terrorism. If the United States does not find ways to make them believe differently, no tangible result will be achieved.
For America to succeed on this mission, it isn't the heavily compromised Nigerian security agencies that it needs the most. It is the people.
For context, Russia's Africa Corps recently went after over 12,000 terrorists who invaded Mali weeks ago. They had all the firepower and logistical muscle to carry out the operation, but the secret to their success was the ordinary Malian people who vibrantly and openly stood 100% in solidarity with the military operation.
America must not fall into the trap of Nigeria's arrogant style of leadership, which often takes the people as nonentities whose opinions and support do not count. This would be a recipe for monumental disaster, and the only thing that comes to mind is "SUDAN."
Neither America nor Nigeria nor both working together can contain the potential inferno that could result from ignoring the people.
Wisdom, they say, is profitable to direct.

Celebrating Responsible Leadership.
Today, I join millions of Nigerians, sons and daughters of Onitsha Kingdom, and all lovers of culture, wisdom, and responsible leadership in celebrating His Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, CFR, the revered Obi of Onitsha, as he marks his 85th birthday.
At 85, His Majesty remains a shining symbol of dignity, intellect, humility, and westernised service. His reign has continued to demonstrate that traditional institutions are not relics of the past, but vital pillars for peace, moral leadership, cultural preservation, and national development.
The Obi of Onitsha's life remains a strong reminder that leadership is about character, discipline, compassion, and service to humanity. In a society where values are increasingly challenged, His Majesty continues to stand tall as a moral compass and a bridge between tradition and modern nation-building.
As a highly accomplished professional before ascending the throne, and now one of Nigeria’s most respected traditional rulers, the Obi of Onitsha has shown that excellence, integrity, and patriotism can coexist in leadership.
On this remarkable milestone, I sincerely pray that God Almighty grants His Majesty good health, wisdom, peace, and strength as he continues to serve humanity.
Happy 85th Birthday, Your Majesty.
May your reign continue to flourish in peace, honour, and greatness.

CAN I ENCOURAGE SOMEONE:
1. Something about you scares the devil.
2. The possibility of you finding your strength, sharpening your focus, & fulfilling purpose shakes hell to its core.
3. The moment you decide to stand in your frame, ignore the critics, & fully obey GOD is the moment your life begins to make a difference.
4. Whatever you do, LIVE LOUDLY! LIVE BOLDLY! You have one life. Don’t let anyone live it for you.
5. There is a GRACE on your life that makes you who you are & guarantees your success. DON’T SHRINK! SHINE!
STOP COMPARING YOUR LIFE to the lives of those who are in a season of Major Fruitfulness.
Unhealthy comparison only causes discouragement, jealousy, & a sense of hopelessness. So...
✔️Stay in your lane. Stop drifting across the line. Keep your eyes on your work.
✔️Commit to giving 💯 to your assignment. Be all in.
✔️Be grateful & thank GOD for where you are & how far He's brought you. Everybody's story is different.
✔️Commit to continuing. Your next step could be your biggest one yet. Keep going!
✔️When your heart is tempted to be jealous of the successes of others, ask the LORD to continue to bless them & to finish His work in your life. Ask Him to heal your heart.

TO @PeterObi:
You did the right thing this morning. Walking out of the ADC took courage. It also took clarity.
You named what most Nigerians have been afraid to name — that the same state and its agents that captured Labour Party in 2023 captured the ADC in 2026. Same machine. Different jersey.
That is the truth. And you said it out loud.
For that, you deserve commendation. Not endorsement — commendation. Because you took a step in the right direction, and steps in the right direction are rare in Nigerian politics.
Now keep going.
Let APC and ADC split the Caliphate vote between themselves. Let the men who built this cage fight over who gets to sit on the throne. They have the same owners. They will end with the same outcome.
You have a different road open to you now. The road of the people.
Millions of displaced Nigerians have no voice. Give them one. Make sure they have a vote.
Millions are crying for self-determination. Give them a real pathway. Put it on the ballot.
Call for a new constitution. Not an amendment. A new one — written by the people, ratified by the people. The 1999 document is a colonial contraption that mentions Sharia 165 times and Christianity zero. It is the scaffolding the Caliphate stands on. Tear it down.
Call for a free 2027 election under international supervision. Not INEC. Not the agents who hounded you out of two parties. The world.
Do not compromise. The world is watching. Be the champion Nigerians need to end this 66-year nightmare.
Sir, you have left the machine.
Now join the people and help dismantle it.

Moment a foreign minister and prophetess, Cindy Jacobs, who hasn’t been in Nigeria for 23 years, called on Governor Alex Otti while ministering today in Abuja, prophesied about the great things happening in Abia recently.
Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
(1) YOU WILL BE TESTED. Life will call your bluff and force you to put up or shut up. It won’t care about your reputation or profile.
(2) It will only be concerned about one thing: YOU GROWING UP! It will test you to see if you can humble yourself enough to:
•take responsibility
•make good decisions, &
•forsake selfishness
(3) There will come a time when life will demand that your skin thickens and you learn to choose your battles wisely.
YOU WILL BE TESTED. And when that day comes.
•I pray you know who you are.
•I pray you have a strong support system & a close circle of Truth tellers.
•I pray you have people who love you for you and not for what you can give them or where you can take them.
•I pray you really know the LORD & are willing to let Him lead you.
•I pray you understand that everyone goes through this transformation. It’s not unique to you.
Hope this made little sense?
SILENCE:
1. There are times when you have to be right... in SILENCE.
2. Just because we know what it is doesn't always mean we have to say what it is. At times there's safety in SILENCE.
3. If they consider your words as useless and a waste of time, give them the gift of your SILENCE,it may make more sense to them.
4. SILENCE with Purpose is golden but SILENCE that communicates nothing is pure cowardice.
5. SILENCE can never be misquoted; It saves you from unnecessary battles, annoys your haters and leaves the reply to God.
6. When in the presence of superior wisdom... it is best to be SILENT and learn, than interject foolishly and miss the point.
7. You don't always have to prove your point. Wise onlookers can discern the difference. Your SILENCE speaks volumes.
8. Trust me... the very people that act like they don't see you, are actually watching your every move. Don't assume that SILENCE means unaware.
9. When knowledgable men are SILENT, it's usually not because they're not wise enough to answer. It's often because they're wise enough not to.
10. When you truly love someone... your hearts will converse, even when your lips are SILENT.
Hope this made little sense?
