@ChannaSam1927@DanFriedman81@Is_Not_Brian One is an independence day celebration and another is a celebration which its entire purpose is to stand for …terrorism?
Additionally, though I acknowledge that it’s irrelevant to the qrt, I dont think Mayors are expected to be at a Mexican independence day parade, no?
@DanFriedman81@Is_Not_Brian you’re conflating a cultural parade with a political parade. Israel Day parade is literally a parade in support of Israel!
The so called “Polish parade” you mentioned is to honour a Polish hero in the Revolutionary war. Puerto Rican parade to celebrate their culture, etc.
@Mussi8_@Ivantheboomer@OnlinePalEng The Palestinian police has no jurisdiction over Israeli-occupiers. Hence, they couldn’t make an arrest if the driver is Israeli. Ramallah News confirmed this.
Furthermore, the vehicle is unlicensed as per TRT world which suggests the possibility of a non-Israeli driver
@FlyKiteSmellAir@bumilangit@NewsBFM@hannahyeoh it’s called a “nudge”. not everyone is rational or have the required mental bandwidth to solve a problem. and one’s choices might affect others, more than themselves. it’s not that we dont need policy change, but your logic is flawed and can only hold in a non-interventional gov
@theepicmap There's nothing wrong with Papua. Just because it's poor doesn't mean it's a horrible place to live. There's this assumption that everybody wants to live in the West...No, most ppl are content in their villages. They flee when we invade, occupy, or destabilize their countries.
I unreservedly condemn the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This act places the Middle East on the edge of grave and sustained instability. I extend my condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran and to the Iranian people at this profoundly difficult moment.
Those who greet his death with approval should recognise the consequences of such actions. Existential threats seldom yield predictable reactions. The deliberate targeting of a head of state sets a dangerous precedent and weakens the norms and principles that underpin the international order.
At the same time, I urge the Iranian authorities to respond with the utmost restraint. Malaysia aligns itself with the statements issued by concerned countries calling on all parties to step back from further escalation.
My foremost concern remains the welfare and safety of Malaysians in Iran, the Gulf States and the wider Middle East. To all Malaysians in the affected region, your Government is taking every possible measure to ensure your protection. Our Missions have been given the full mandate and resources to assist you.
The Government will urgently evaluate the economic repercussions of the conflict, including risks to regional airspace and to freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. Malaysia's trade and energy security are directly implicated, and we will act as necessary to safeguard our national interests.
Malaysia calls for an immediate ceasefire, the protection of civilians and a return to serious dialogue. This crisis cannot be resolved by force. It requires diplomacy, restraint and political will.

“Ha! The ship has been blocked and the people detained! What a stupid idea!”
Oh, don’t you understand? The expected outcome was to publicly show what the media doesn’t: that Israel is a criminal entity with no respect for International Law or its supposed allies, that blocks aid and kidnaps anyone who it deems problematic to its criminal goals, and that Gaza is indeed under an illegal military occupation.
That was expected, and in this regard it was an overwhelming success. Thanks for sharing the Israeli response to as many people as you could, that’s a big help!
