Anyway the reason agile is failing for isn't that you read the wrong book or hired the wrong consultant, it's that it has lost its essential nature of worker autonomy. Give workers control over their own work and they will make agile (or something else) work.

So we are debating personas again? It's simple: Root them in actual research, involve the whole team, give them scenarios with goals and needs. And most of all make them a living tool to work with - not a dead deliverable in the drawer.
