@cemaxecuter Does the *#*#4636#*#* field test menu work on your phone? If so you can go to Phone Information and possibly force 5G or any other combo of protocols that you want. At the very least it will tell you more about what the phone supports.
@cemaxecuter@Raspberry_Pi@NuandLLC Have you built Yate and YateBTS from scratch recently? I encounter numerous errors involving QT4 during config and build using any available instructions. It works in DragonOS of course, I assume you built it in a while back, but I like to build things from scratch at least once.
@cemaxecuter I was able to get past an issue with Qsound by installing an old version of Qtmultimedia4 from a PPA, but the LTO error is my current hangup.
@cemaxecuter have you built yate and yatebts from source recently on Ubuntu 22.04? I'm running into lots of build issues related to qt4 vs. qt5 support, I was wondering if you have encountered the same and maybe have workarounds
@cemaxecuter I have tried both the source on yatevoip Github and Nuand's source. I was using RC 2 of the Nuand source based on the instructions on their Github, I just tried RC 3 mentioned in that link with the same errors. libQtUiTools.a generated with LTO version 11.2 instead of 11.3 etc
@KB7ZUT Probably a clone or derivative of the MRF186. A similar part is used in the MX-P50M amp, some units have a seemingly genuine Motorola part and others have an unmarked clone. https://t.co/xYjaF8zGNH
@idlehandsdev@MicrochipMakes@digikey 200 π³ I have so many bags of ATmegas, SAMDs and other useful ICs in my parts bins, still vacuum sealed. Tubes and tubes of old PICs. From a time when everything was in stock and we always ordered 10 or 100 of everything because why not. Now they are like hidden gold.
@AlanAtTek Nice one! Glad you got your 10, it can be rough in the winter sometimes. One option for parks with no cell service: schedule your activation in advance on the POTA page, and it will automatically spot you when the RBN picks you up.
@AlanAtTek Is the single contact that shows on the map a P2P? HAMRS has an offline lookup for parks so those will show even if you don't have internet or the lookup fails.
@AlanAtTek Likely a problem with pulling grid squares. What lookup provider are you using in HAMRS? HamDB is free but doesn't work for all international callsigns. (It was down for a few weeks but is up now) QRZ lookup requires a subscription to give you grid squares. Maybe try HamQTH.
