Oxford United are delighted that our planning application for a new 16,000 capacity stadium on land north of the city has been approved by Cherwell District Council.
£1.5m plans to fix the missing link for cycling across Abingdon have advanced following the appointment of Phil Jones Associates to design the scheme. A new through route will be created on National Cycle Route 5 where cyclists currently have to dismount, using Government funds.
A driver who flipped his car, left the scene then lied about it being stolen to Police has avoided jail or any driving ban.

My entire scientific career I have been cautioning against climate doomerism. It’s dangerously unhealthy for young people and leads into apathy.
Humanity won on ozone depletion. Much of the world has been successful on acid rain and air pollution. Climate is winnable.
