Lp(a) is a cardiovascular risk factor that has gained significant traction in international guidelines over recent years. Yet in clinical practice, a significant gap remains between recommendations and real-world testing.

This interactive virtual workshop offered tips and best practices to help participants elevate their profile as thought leaders in #inflammation. Looking ahead, fellows will pair off to write a thought leadership article. The series will be released via IAS' LinkedIn starting in January 2026.

Members of the global IAS team made the most of the trip to Madrid for @escardio's #ESCCongress and #WCCardio!

There were pre-congress events including the #InflammationAcademy and #LetsRISE2025, participation in side events by partners like @fhpatienteurope , @worldheartfed and @EFPIA. There was an early morning recording session with @BoxBear and @Cleerlyhealth, evening social gatherings with longtime colleagues and new friends; coffee klatches, hallway meet ups and many fantastic scientific presentations.
