LLM and AI will help a lot to facilitate the adoption and understanding of options.

Simplifying the UX/UI is also really important but It's not easy to strike the right balance between simplifying things and stripping away as much complexity as possible for users without sacrificing the power of slightly more complex strategies.

Still a lot of work to do on this side but we're making progress 😁

My base case is on chain perps volume 1.5-2.5x next year, on chain options volume 5-10x.

If you had to guess, what percent of Hyperliquid traders have traded on Derive? I'd be shocked if it was over 1% still.

I think you're also underestimating the modularity of "options", specifically as it'll pertain to composability with the rest of DeFi. Hundreds of different payoffs, structured products, etc.

Many people will trade options in the same way they'll use crypto rails; without realizing it.
