Have had a lot of questions about how #bitcoin ETFs interact with the underlying bitcoin market throughout the trading day, when ETF buys and sells impact the spot bitcoin market (and how and when the ETF actually gets its bitcoin). Short thread.
Well, it's funny you say that! Because it indeed appears to have been impossibly difficult to manage interest rate risk for everyone running a very large bank.
Why? Because the Fed faked out banks with wildly inaccurate forward guidance, sold them billions in bonds, and then devalued those bonds by hiking rates far faster than the guidance at the time the bonds were sold.
And now we have $600B+ in Fed-caused unrealized losses across many banks.
Again, don't take it from me. Here's FDIC:

"The current interest rate environment has had dramatic effects on the profitability and risk profile of banks’ funding and investment strategies...The bottom line is that planning a bank’s funding and investments in a way that is both prudent and profitable is a complex and challenging task at this time, especially when interest rates change to the extent they have over the past year."
Today is my 32nd birthday.
Over the last month, I asked several 90-year-olds what advice they would give to their 32-year-old selves.
Here's the life advice everyone needs to hear:
My bear market playbook:
• Build cashflow
• Build my network
• Build more systems
• Keep up /w narratives
• Improve fundamentals
• Study non-crypto topics
• DCA into long-term positions
• Avoid short-term plays and trades
Leveling up to prepare for the bull market.
Real wealth is created during bear markets.
But no one shares practical advice other than "buy the dip".
Here's your playbook to make the most out of a bear market:
