Arabic, British Sign Language, Canadian French, Doric, English, Gaelic, German, Orcadian, Punjabi, Scots, Urdu, Welsh and Zimbabwean Shona... Fun day at the swearing-in ceremony at the Scottish Parliament!
I'm only repeating what Saskia says here but please if you have any link with a school make sure it has been registered and period products have been ordered from @phsgroup 🙏
It seems there is very low uptake from schools for ordering their period products from @phsgroup . Only 10% of budget used 😱and next years budget will be allocated according to this years spend... so please pass message to schools if possible to register ASAP!
The results are in for the #TranslationChallenge2020! Very proud that my team won the French translation, my teammates worked so hard and it was very well deserved. Thank you to TTC Translation @lovetranslation and @Uni_of_Essex for organising. What a great experience!
Translation Challenge 2020 -the 7th instalment of the competition- has been launched at the University of Essex on 15 January 2020. Each team will work on a live technical text from a TTC wetranslate global client, and the challenge is now on!
Stay tuned 4 updates, like & share!
I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to take part in the #TranslationChallenge2020. I'm looking forward to getting more experience in translating for a client as the PM of my French group 🇫🇷. Let the translation commence! 👩💻
Just had my first translation exam of the year. AS IF I had to translate a news article on period poverty!!! Truly grateful that the Universe has got my back 🙏 Must admit I was tempted to use my own blog as a parallel text...
Had a great class today on videogame localisation with guest lecturer Dr José Ramón Calvo-Ferrer. Looking forward to living vicariously through his upcoming project @SubtitleLegends until my career in translation takes off! 💪
Such a powerful advert and educating advert from the @TheStrokeAssoc. I didn’t realise this could effect people of all ages and it’s really inspiring to hear from these survivors. It’s so important for people to know that they will be supported #RebuildingLives
We're super excited to share our TV advert! Stroke changes lives in an instant, but the brain can adapt. And so can you.
We’re here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. Share your story of how your stroke felt - #RebuildingLives: https://t.co/rnPkedhzBo
