we had a wonderful time reconnecting with my dear friends, Minister of Correctional Services Dr. Petrus Johannes Groenewald and MP Tammy Breet from the National Council of Provinces, during our visit to South Africa. Grateful to Pieter, Tammy, and all the MPs for the warm welcome to our newly elected President @TurgunjanAlawd3 and Vice President @ZumretErkin in their parliamentary offices!

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA By many it is seen as an unsatisfactory roadmap for our power needs. I agree with Kevin, more focus needs to be put into RE, especially wind and solar.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@Butterflutter19 @naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA Perhaps, but public consultation still allows the gov. to make the final call and that is where the problem lies.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA I don't think government has sufficient urgency, nor investment. BUT, allow South Africans to lead the charge and we will have success. Gov. needs to lessen their involvement and lift restrictive legislation.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@Butterflutter19 @naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA An environment needs to be created where the private sector can create jobs, where entrepreneurs will be able to start businesses and thus seeing more people employed.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA Firstly, tax rebates for going off grid need to be implemented. Secondly, the energy market needs to be opened up to allow for other companies with renewable energy to produce electricity. This will allow for competitive prices for electricity.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA This will be more empty promises. No sustainable jobs will be created and poor communities will not be assisted. We have seen this in the whole Free State.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA Firstly we need to ensure that it is easy for entrepreneurs to enter the market. We need to allow them to be able to create jobs that will lead to employment and upskilling

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

@naturaljustice @OxfamSA @AYCommission @aacjinaction @PACJA1 @FemnetProg @kmileham @Our_DA No... Plain and simple.

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

Well that was underwhelming… #SONA2024 @VFPlus

#SONA2024 : “We must choose the country we want.”
Exactly. A country free from the ANC is a country I want. #Election2024 = the opportunity we are waiting for.
Let’s rebuild SA! Vote @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

Apparently consequence management will happen… Then why have we yet to see people behind bars for looting SA?! #SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

“The achievements of the last three decades…” ~Ramaphosa
What achievements? There are only failures! Everything the ANC touches turns to dust. #SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

#SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

The only way the ANC knows how to hold on to power is to continue increasing the number of people dependent on social grants. It is not a success if you annually have more people on social grants! #SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

‘n Land wat vir sy landbouers sorg, sorg vir sy toekoms. Mnr die president, jy sorg nie vir hulle nie. Jy laat toe dat hulle gemoor word. Jy rus hul nie toe om te kan boer nie. Jý bedreig voedselsekuriteit. #SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

Daar is dit nou! Die president se sneltrein!!! 🤣🤣 #SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

Van watter land praat Ramaphosa waar dit so goed gaan?! Beslis nie SA nie! #SONA2024 @VFPlus

[Tammy Breedt @Tamarin86]

Another fund, another opportunity for the ANC to loot SA resources! #SONA2024 @VFPlus
