.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense.
SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world.
Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere.
SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity.
Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help.
The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist.
Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives.
Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation.
Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears.
Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction.
We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.
Huge congratulations to the @SpaceX team on a historic IPO debut.
Fueling the next frontier of space and AI. 🌌
NVIDIA's partnership with SpaceX spans nearly a decade, from hand-delivering the world's first #NVIDIADGX-1 supercomputer in 2016 to the custom DGX Spark handoff at Starbase. Together, we've been pushing the boundaries of accelerated computing to help power the future of space exploration.
In awe of SpaceX and its story - past, present and the future. You can think about it in 10+ different ways and continue re-blowing your mind in circles. Huge congrats to the team! 🚀

Be your self, not someone you were assigned to be!
Bezos won on time horizon, not AWS or 1-Click.
If your bets have to work in 3 years, you compete with everyone. Every smart, funded team is chasing the same 3-year problems. Short horizon, crowded field.
Stretch to 7 and the field collapses. Investors want returns, employees want vesting, founders want proof. Almost nobody can sit in a bet that doesn't pay for most of a decade. The patience is the moat, and it costs you, that's why it works.
But you can't fake a 7-year horizon on a problem you don't actually care about. Pick the users and the problem Moloch assigned you, the safe ones, the fundable ones, and you'll bail the first hard year. Pick the ones that are actually yours and you'll still be there when everyone else has quit.
So the real prerequisite isn't discipline. It's knowing yourself well enough to choose a problem and a set of people you care about that you'll serve them for decades.
Today we celebrate the opening of our new R&D lab in Boulder, Colorado—a city rich with tech talent and quantum innovation.
Thank you to @GovOfCO Jared Polis, Boulder Mayor Aaron Brockett and the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade for making this development possible.

Today is the deadline to apply for YC Summer 2026.
If you're still hesitating: the companies that change the world don't wait until they're 100% ready. Applying is sometimes literally the first step.
The modern world runs on chemicals and fuels that require a huge amount of energy to produce: Industrial chemical separation accounts for 10 to 15 percent of the world’s total energy consumption. The MIT spinout Osmoses is making industrial chemical separations more efficient. https://t.co/9TFRkEmr3A
Happy World Quantum Day! Today’s #GoogleDoodle represents the potential of the qubit. We’re harnessing its unique quantum properties to build systems capable of solving problems that remain intractable for classical computers → https://t.co/24vv6s0uD6

Yes it's the tractable form of brain upload. There's a ton of scifi on brain uploads that requires way too exotic tech (scanning and simulating brains etc), when we're about to get a lossy and approximate version of that *a lot* sooner via LLM simulators. You can easily imagine a "brain upload" startup - you show up for a few days to carry out detailed video interviews, then they use all that data with an LLM finetuning process to "upload" you and give you an API endpoint of your simulation that you can talk to. Look at what's already possible with HeyGen as an example, but combine it with an LLM model that has deep knowledge and personality. Trippy and admittedly kind of dystopian but in principle quite possible around now.
"I'm not a creative person."
No, you are, everyone is, but your mind is just clogged by all of the podcasts and social media you ram into it without properly digesting it. You're conditioned to believe you can only take a certain path in life, and you don't daydream or entertain stupid ideas that could set you on an entirely new trajectory. You're so obsessed with being productive and efficient that you feel like you're always falling behind, and that stress prevents you from thinking outside the box.
You need to slow the fuck down, allow yourself to be bored (actually bored, not so overstimulated that you find enjoyable things boring), and pursue a life that you design, not one that was assigned to you.
