I resigned from OpenAI. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together. This wasn’t an easy call. AI has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I’m proud of what we built together.

I know the AWS outage is supposed to be limited to UAE data centers, but def saw some weird latencies on us-east-1 for s3 and bedrock over the few minutes. Curious if anyone else is seeing a ripple?

Has anyone ran into any weird issues with model versions when trying to evaluate what model is running when calling a @databricks foundational model (like @AnthropicAI claude-sonnet-4)? It seems to think it is sonnet 3, when yesterday it knew it was sonnet-4 on dbx. #AgenticAI

the Snowflake recommended workaround at this time is to use withHighPrecision (which introduces other fun things).

Anyone using @SnowflakeDB's @golang driver should be careful around float64 precision. Seems like there was a bug w/ the introduction of arrow a year and a half ago where default precision is being cut down to 7 decimal places.
