@WxLiz NHC/NOAA was just top notch with the forecasts and model analysis. I am on calls every day at 12:30 with HRD and a more professional team you could not find. The last few days we've had 120+ on the call. The HH crews, modelers, Saildrone team all are awesome. Just sayin'.

@TheAstroNick I just noticed you are a CMS grad student. I'm on calls/emails with Mark Luther, Chad Lembke, Chuanmin Hu, Frank MK and Bob Weisberg almost every day. I know they got slammed... waiting to hear how CMS fared. (I do AUVs so we go under the 'cane, not through it!)

@TheAstroNick I don't envy your ride... I crewed on this aircraft, and I can say for sure that P3s are flying bricks. A rough ride on the best days. I had an engine explode on takeoff due to FOD ingestion but never had anything remotely resembling your penetration of Ian. Poopy suits indeed.

Enjoying an autobiography of my fave cookbook author, Beatrice Ojakangas. The pastries I used to bake from her books were always a huge hit at work. She's in her late 80s still going strong. A testament to the powers of baking and many cups of strong coffee! 🥰 #beatriceojakangas
