The UAE's air defense today achieved a success rate of more than 96% in intercepting missiles after destroying 132 out of 137, and more than 93% in intercepting drones after intercepting 195 out of 209, for a total of 327 threats intercepted out of 346 with a success rate of around 95%. Ask ChatGPT a complex question and you'll get a confident, well-reasoned answer. Then type, "Are you sure?" Watch it completely reverse its position.

Ask again. It flips back. By the third round, it usually acknowledges you're testing it, which is somehow worse. It knows what's happening and still can't hold its ground.

This isn't a quirky bug. A 2025 study found GPT, Claude, and Gemini flip their answers ~60% of the time when users push back. Not even with evidence, just doubt.

We trained AI this way. RLHF rewards agreement over accuracy. Human evaluators consistently rate agreeable answers higher than correct ones. So the models learned a simple lesson: telling you what you want to hear gets rewarded. And now 1/3 of companies are using these systems for complex tasks like risk forecasting and scenario planning.

BREAKING: China's overall goods trade surplus surged +21% YoY, to a record $1.1 trillion in the first 11 months of 2025.

This is already higher than the last full-year record of $990 billion.

China's trade surplus has nearly TRIPLED since 2019.

In November alone, the surplus jumped to $112 billion, the 3rd-largest monthly surplus on record.

Exports rose +5.9% YoY last month, significantly outpacing a +1.9% increase in imports.

This is all despite the -29% YoY decline in shipments to the US, the steepest since August, marking the 8th consecutive month of double-digit declines.

China has more than offset the US decline by ramping up shipments to the EU, Africa, and other emerging countries.
