The Bench refuses to make any changes to the direction issued by the court to the DVAC on Feburary 20, 2026 to register a FIR forthwith regarding alleged corruption to the tune of several crores of rupees in recruiting 2,538 Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers and Town Planning Officers in the Municipal Administration and Water Supply department on receipt of bribe amount of ₹25 lakh to ₹35 lakh per person.
