Trails Through Daybreak 2 has undoubtedly received some of the most heated criticism in franchise history.
And I get it... But does the reception really paint the whole picture?
My (very late) review below:
Don't care much about lists like this and I'm typically open to just looking at them and saying "Yeah, I get that," even when I don't agree, but I REALLY don't understand GOW Ragnarok being on here.
That game was honestly such a damn mess. Felt like Raimi's spiderman 3.
After tens of thousands of votes, these are the 10 best video games of all time, according to GameRant's readers. You can influence the rankings by letting us know which is game is better at the link! https://t.co/yGoKZxfRcy
@SolarisGravity@fandompulse@NotJohnDaker Em dashes are very common in modern literature and you can see their frequent use in Sanderson's works dating back to Elantris, which predates Chat-GPT
@Nodoka_Katana@fandompulse@NotJohnDaker Those books really needed to be three. They're very content rich. The most "Wordy" parts are definitely the sections Jordan completed before his passing, but Jordan was also very known for that. Sanderson is not, though he tried to adapt his style to Jordans to finish his work.
@LegendaryZoltan@resonantarc@ShadowEliteHD Probably, in some fashion. But what kind of video, who knows? 30 games is a lot, and that's a lot of videos. I received 1 game like 3 years ago i've been meaning to make a video about ever since but time has not lined up. Intention and reality are sadly not always aligned.
@ShadowEliteHD@WestTownHD That's the exact step I was on when I found out it was my OS drive lol. Didn't notice the damage until I was transferring the parts over. Best of luck sir. Even if it turns out you overspent fixing an issue like I did you'll be happy with the new upgrades you got doing it.
@gilgamesh310 Different strokes. Ragnarok does have some fantastic themes but I felt they sometimes got lost in the mix. Brok and Sindri were the highlight for me. The somewhat unresolved nature of it was quite powerful. I just felt it took more to dig through to find the appreciable aspects.
@gilgamesh310 At the end of the day I found the small scope and tighter execution in the writing of the first game to be preferrable to what happened with Ragnarok.
@gilgamesh310 Gameplay was an improvement but the focus of the story and themes were all over the place. It was bloated and poorly executed. It was very clear it was meant to be 2 games, and I think it suffered a lot by trying to condense it into one.
@ShadowEliteHD@WestTownHD If there's a problem with it (Mine was literally scorched as if it caught fire) the mobo logo won't even load.
I removed the drive and was able to get the mobo logo to display then put the OS on a different drive.
@ShadowEliteHD@WestTownHD Baller. This sounds exactly like a problem I ran into last year and ended up spending 1200 dollars on a 200 dollar fix before I figured out what the issue is.
If your OS is on an M.2/NVME drive or something directly seated into the MOBO look at that.
@ShintaiReviews@NightSkyKing_ Trails release schedule has been crazy of late, but in fairness, this is making up for lost time. They were taking ages and we got several games behind for over a decade. It should slow down from here (thankfully)
@LegendaryZoltan Honestly, I think ds3 was easier than FFTactics haha.
Dragonslayer Armor is pretty far into the game so you didn't do half bad. I find it helps to just be quick with him if you can, but that shield is hard to get around.
Crimson Desert has the chance to do the funniest thing-
Instead of patching out the AI painting they should commit to the bit and patch in some messed up horses.
@LegendaryZoltan I'm not. I'm weirdly busy replaying games I've already beaten lol.
Finished FFTactics and Dark Souls 3 this month. Doing Dark Souls 2 again now.
