@ArthurCDent @MrCharles00 Also parents would prefer not to spend massive amounts of money if they don't need to so they size up their own kids and make educated guess as to if their kids are the type to do fine in the "rougher" schools. Then selection effects means they tend to be right.

@ArthurCDent @MrCharles00 Every liberal parent chooses the after school club that is nicer and has the middle class vibe. They never send their kids to random clubs regardless of quality because of egalitarianism even though it's not fair their higher income leads to after school segregation etc
