@RogueChieftan Not sure if Bretton Woods would be too recent for the subject scope, but 'Silences of Bretton Woods: gender inequality, racial discrimination and environmental degradation' by Helleiner (2023) does really well in the 300 level Capitalism & Environment subject I teach

@RogueChieftan I always give them a general reminder that reading at a high academic level can be difficult, and that's okay. That difficulty is where learning happens. To not feel discouraged if they need to re-read several times to understand, or if they need to check definitions elsewhere

Just got diagnosed with ADHD and autism at the ripe age of 29. 1) the cost + difficulty of basic psychiatric care in this country is a national shame; 2) I wouldn't have gotten this far if it wasn't for the flexibilities/accomodations of dozens of teachers + mentors
