A gunman shot and injured three Ahmadi Muslim security volunteers in Rabwah, Pakistan, just outside of our Baitul Aqsa mosque last night.

Two are in critical condition – the youngest victim is 23 years old. The perpetrator fled the scene and remains at large. We strongly condemn the attack, which is a continuation of the rising insecurity for Ahmadis in Rabwah and is a result of the impunity for hate preachers to continue to incite violence against innocent Ahmadis in Pakistan. This is the second such attack in the town within recent months.

There is no end of Ahmadis suffering. On 13.12.2024 an Ahmadi Mr. Ameer Hassan in District Mirpurkhas in Sindh was on his way to his home after the morning prayers when he was fatally shot by two unknown assailants who upon identifying him opened fire. He died immediately.
