Angelenos have lost faith in the capacity of the city to spend their tax dollars wisely. To restore the public’s trust, we must reduce liability expenses, audit homelessness spending, repair broken infrastructure, and deliver on basic city services.
We also need to bring back business investment.
In 2019, DTLA was responsible for 40% of LA’s hotel, sales, and business taxes, despite being only 1.4% of the city’s land area.
Six years later, 1/3 of DTLA office space is vacant.
We must invest in making DTLA safe, clean and vibrant so that businesses invest again.

If the Mayor & most of City Council DO NOT want to fight for transparency and accountability on LA28's finances, WE WILL.
REMINDER: YOU ALL (LA taxpayers) are financially liable for UNLIMITED amounts if the LA Olympics goes over budget.

Hi friends, I saw some of you saying to vote for me in November! Please know I won already in June!
Instead, PLEASE support:
💛 Nithya Raman for Mayor
💜 Marissa Roy for City Attorney
💙 Estuardo Mazariegos for City Council District 9
They will support the Controller's Office!
I confronted Hugo a day after he voted to defund a food program for poor kids (to give the money to cops for overtime).
If DSA-LA was real about their rhetoric, they would have confronted Hugo themselves. Instead they moved to protect Hugo from being confronted. Fake ass people.
Confined neurodivergent youth of color experience a distressing 120% higher odds of reporting being assaulted by staff than their white, neurotypical peers.
This is not a system made to keep anyone–let alone vulnerable children–safe.
“Raman is favored by 39% of likely L.A. voters, compared with 28% for Bass, according to the poll…The poll found that 33% of voters were undecided.”

Big news! In the latest Berkeley/LA Times poll, we’ve surged ahead of Mayor Bass with an 11 point lead. This poll reflects the momentum we’re seeing on the ground. Angelenos are ready for change and want to see a City That Works.
But we can’t take our foot off the gas! A third of voters are undecided, and this race remains wide open. Now’s a great time to sign up to canvass, phonebook, or volunteer. See the link in bio to join us!
HUGE: Zohran Mamdani just won a $131.5 million settlement from DoorDash after finding the tech giant underpaid 260,000 delivery workers for years.
It’s the largest labor enforcement action in American municipal history.
We spoke to NYC Commissioner Sam Levine about how the administration is holding the billion-dollar company accountable and cracking down on greedy algorithms that shortchange workers.
Luis Ochoa is 17.
He is a U.S. citizen.
He was driving with another U.S. citizen to enlist in the Marines when he was pulled over and ripped from his car by ICE.
Someone started recording.
This is the horrific video.
While the boys were being beaten, they repeatedly tell the agents they are CITIZENS — and are ignored.
One agent told said, "I don't give a damn. Your parents can't help you now."
Both teenagers were detained for hours before being released.
They were preparing to serve this country - yet their citizenship did not protect them from being beaten, pepper-sprayed, and detained by their own government.
This is what the Nazis did then, and ICE does now.
The federal system has rapidly grown due, in large part, to ICE's mass detention and deportation agenda.
In 2027, the Trump administration plans to take it a step further, booking 110,000 people on immigration-related criminal charges:
Los Angeles ranked LAST among the 100 largest U.S. cities for housing affordability & homebuilding in Realtor’s 2026 Metro Report Card. This is a crisis that requires an urgent solution.
Rent is too high, homeownership is out of reach for too many Angelenos, and the mayor has no plan to fix it.
The Mayor blocked our homelessness audit & cut the budget for audits & investigations into fraud, waste, & abuse.
Nithya voted against those cuts AND welcomed our Audit team to assess her Office's internal controls unlike the Mayor.
Night & Day on Oversight. Raman is the one.
DSA is NOT the one blocking audits on one of the largest homelessness programs in Los Angeles.
DSA is NOT the one who cut the Controller's budget to do audits and fraud, waste, & abuse investigations.
That was the Mayor.
If you want stronger oversight, Nithya Raman is the one.
That's why I love getting Angelenos to focus on the Mayor's budget priorities.
"The numbers don't lie, people do."
We can't do this another four years. 😮💨
@WikiLeaksQ You’re full of it - ages 16–64 and no reported disability—approximately 74.6% of Americans were employed in August 2026.
Men: 80.0%
Women: 69.4%
Combined: 74.6%, or roughly three out of four
