Our new Spaces SDK lets you create a virtual collaborative environment without building the infrastructure to power it.
That gives your users access to a range of collaborative features that make remote working quicker, easier, and smoother. Here are the main features: 🧵👇
We are about to release a brand new product in the coming weeks - the first major one I've lead since transitioning to Product Management last year 😄 Exciting times at Ably! #watchthisspace 👀
For our @ablyrealtime employee hackathon today, I wanted to use serverless postgres with our new realtime database connector (https://t.co/nYbZLY8bwJ). I found @neondatabase and was really impressed! Good stuff! Neon team, LMK if you want to have a look!
So glad to see Central from Medford to Highland getting protected lanes in the new @SomervilleCity Bike Network Plan. It's a nightmare to bike there today @somerbikesafety
Hey @SomervilleInfr1 why not put electric underground at the same time as this work? We had gas main replaced last summer and it was a *big* missed opportunity to get electric off the poles (to beautify the street and allow more trees)
Elizabeth Line London (https://t.co/KukAveAAJQ) - peak 24 trains/hr, 84% on-time, clean electric trains and new platforms. Transformational!
Imagine if Boston had this @MBTA ? @MassGovernor might even take it instead of driving the 4 miles from Porter to Park. @StreetsblogMASS
How is this acceptable @erika4rep @patjehlen2005@MassGovernor ? "Add 40 minutes to your commute if you are taking the MBTA" A 40 min commute is already too long! https://t.co/CYxrms7GCN via @BostonGlobe
@BenForWard3@katjballantyne This is going to be such a positive improvement for how we live and work in the neighborhood! Thank you also to @BenForWard3 for all you've done to make this possible!
@bgm_ward5 The residential zoning wouldn’t allow a vast impermeable surface like this on a new build, but the city can pour concrete with abandon? Terrible. Let’s all do our part for a healthier city!
@r_marked@ablyrealtime That’s the msg/second limit, so 2 alerts a few minutes apart. Exceeded at 1:27, and came close again at 1:31. FYI, our PAYG plan starts at 2400 msg/sec and can scale to hundreds of thousands per second with no need to worry about hitting this limit https://t.co/x0nYqznQn9
So why are we still running Commuter Rail service to Middleborough? Close their station and transfer funds to communities that want to be part of the solution, not those who vote to ignore the law.
@SomervilleInfr1 Farewell orange webbing! So much less harrowing to walk up those stairs now. Thanks for such a great safety and aesthetic improvement!
Happy Holidays everyone. Hope you get to spend some time with the ones you love in the coming days. Here's hoping that the New Year will bring some peace and respite to those who need it most.
