@mikesimonsen Yeah, it's awful. However, to put it in context, we are not the only ones. Compared to Western Europe, only Germany has better numbers than we do normalized for population, and most are much worse.

@mikesimonsen Your hair salon and local restaurant are not intertwined with global trade. When they are forced to shut down that business suffers a lot more.
@mikesimonsen Not the most thorough of journalism. Sadly I couldnโt draw this conclusion from the evidence presented. The thesis may hold but we wonโt know for months. My money is they are going to be better off though.
