@Real_Malachite@MrBeast Reality: “I pressed blue. I understand the risk and it’s worth it to save everyone. I believe in the common good of humanity and if I’m wrong it is what it is.”
No one choosing blue cares about self preservation like red does. So your comment makes no sense.
@stevemagness People don’t realize 60mpw is easy… I’m 32 yo with a wife, kids, and full time job and 60 is easy to get. If I was a hs or college kid with more freedom 60-70+ would be so easy to get.
@bryan_johnson But we all are gonna die. A central component of “religion” is the belief of life after death. Does DD ignore the reality of death? Does DD believe in afterlife? How can it be unifying when it can’t solve our death problem.
@stevemagness Don’t take advice on nutrition from this guy. There are many great nutritionists out there who perform sweat tests and can give you great personalized advice on fueling. Not everyone is the same so generalized statements are not helpful at all.
@stevemagness Don’t take medical advice from this guy please. If you’re injured go see a good PT/doc that is experienced with musculoskeletal injuries. As a PT myself I’ve never told anyone you’re still injured bc you iced too soon/long.
@csgotrk@lime_crush@WorldAthletics Which is why my only knock against the steeple is that we can’t say unequivocally that the best are racing the best like we can with the other races. It’s entertaining but it lacks the prestige imo.
@csgotrk@lime_crush@WorldAthletics I don’t disagree that it can happen it’s just rare. For the USA for example when was the last time our top steepler on the men’s side would have also made the 1500 or 5k squad or placed top 5 at the trials? I can’t think of any off hand.
@csgotrk@lime_crush@WorldAthletics Few and far between as I mentioned. I’m not saying those athletes don’t exist who can do that. It’s just not common. Most of the time it doesn’t carry over.
@lime_crush@WorldAthletics Which goes back to why I believe the 100m final is so dramatic, electric, and entertaining. It’s the best of the best going at it. No questions asked on who is the fastest man/woman in the world at that distance.
@lime_crush@WorldAthletics Ya Jenny is a beast but she would be in the category of few and far between for me. There’s no steepler to my knowledge that would have made the 1500 or 5k teams for team USA in this Olympic year.
