#FoodPrize22 something I am taking away from this week is the people around us are the ones that will help us change the world and help salve food security #WFPFGoals#becauseofBorlaug
On our last day in Des Moines at #FoodPrize22, we visited the Hall of Laureates and celebrated the work on Norman Borlaug. As we conclude #WFPFGoals, it’s exciting to leave knowing the passion of one can inspire the impact of so many. #BecauseofBorlaug
This week has been amazing. I have learn so much from the world food prize and all the work that other people and laureates have done to improve agriculture. I feel so bless knowing that I am not alone in my love for agriculture #foodprize22#WFPFgoals#becauseofbourlag
A4: Here at the #FoodPrize22 the #wfpfgoals attended a breakfast with @CASTagScience . We learned that CAST is a great resource for food security, food safety, and agricultural scientific information. This can be a great resource and a great call to action.
Food Security and climate action will connect to topics that I will teach this year as I show high school students to understand their local community and how they can improve lives in food security! #foodprize22
A2. Being able to attend the @WorldFoodPrize and being a pre service educator in the #WFPFgoals program I am learning so much to help my understanding of food security. #FoodPrize22
A1. I am personally connected to food security because of my connection to my family’s farm. My family and I are constantly trying new technologies and new breeds of wheat to try and produce higher yields with less inputs. #FoodPrize22#McGregor
Hello I’m Tanner Anderson I’m a pre service educator studying at the university of Idaho studying AgEd. I grew up on my family’s wheat farm in Palouse, Washington. I would love to see @Kennyc_12 join this conversation #FoodPrize22#teachag
I am excited to share how much money can be saved in humanitarian efforts with an investment of 800 million today with my future students. Thank you Jyotsna Puri for sharing this astounding piece of knowledge.
I am excited to share that the three main threats to agriculture we are addressing this year at the World Food Prize are covid, climate and conflict said Barbara Stinson the president of the World Food Prize Foundation. #FoodPrize22#wfpfgoals
Excited to share with my future students what @CaryFowler_ said best today at the World Food Prize opening session, the worst growing season of the future will be the best of the past! #FoodPrize22#WFPFgoals
I am so excited to share that @CaryFowler_ talked about “feeding a fragile world”! So glad more attention is being brought to global food security. #WFPFGOALS#Foodprize22
