@generalorthomd The less common, tough cases are always hard and hard for everyone. Iโve seen many surgeons stop doing these cases with all number of justifications. Reality is thatโs a disservice to patients and partners. Keep doing the hard stuff, though I know you will.
@generalorthomd My 8 yr old practices 5:30-7:30 M/Tu/Th and the season is 5 months long. And they expect parents to stay for the entire practice. Its a big ask for 3rd graders...
@northwoods1980 For many of these conditions the non operative options are limited. Often PT/injections. Patients will drive this as they see injections as a โquickerโ fix. Insurance will drive it as they require trial even in severe cases. The example above with lateral elbow pain is difficult
