@Protestia His Presbytery was certainly against him, but what gave them the opportunity to excommunicate him was how he left.

@Protestia This is not entirely true. He was never removed from his pulpit; he resigned and left after being accepted into another denomination. He was later excommunicated in part because of his actions through the pandemic but primarily because of how he left.
