People don't need perfect words when they're hurting—they need presence. A text, a visit, a simple "I'm here."
Most people disappear when pain feels uncomfortable, but people remember who stayed. Sometimes love is simply not leaving.🫶

🚨 Taylor Swift sent a letter and SIGNED guitars to an 8-year-old girl and her neighbor after she saw a video of the kid sending paper airplane to her neighbor, requesting that he play Taylor Swift song!
—The neighbor (Hayes) confirms that out of nowhere, he got a message from Swift's camp on TikTok.
“They're like, 'Hey, Taylor saw your video. We want to send you something. Don't tell anyone until it gets there,' I was expecting maybe a signed poster or something. And then she sent us guitars, which is insane.”
This brought me great comfort when I lost my mother more than 20 years ago and later my father during Covid. I hope if you have lost someone and need comfort, it can do the same for you.,
Days after burying his son. My friend @pastorlocke stood in tears in Washington D.C. under the anointing of God and gave a powerful word for America. 😭
I have never been more proud to call him my friend.

Hard days reveal what easy days hide.
Nobody's attitude gets tested on a good day.
Nobody's faith gets proven when everything is working. Nobody's character shows up when the meeting goes well and the boss is happy and the project lands perfectly.
That's just a good day.
The hard day is where everything real lives.
How you treat people when you're tired.
How you respond when you're wronged.
How you show up when showing up costs you something.
That's the version of you that matters.
Attitude is a choice.
Gratitude is a discipline.
Bitterness is expensive.
Nobody accidentally has a great attitude.
Nobody stumbles into gratitude.
And nobody means to end up bitter, it just quietly moves in when you stop choosing something better.
Guard your peace like it cost you something.
Because it did.
Matthew McConaughey shared something beautiful and profound at Riverbend Church:
We are Christ’s body — each of us a different part, with different roles.
The foot doesn’t say “I’m not a hand, so I don’t belong.” The ear doesn’t say “I’m not an eye, so I’m worthless.” Every part is needed exactly where it is. The seemingly “lesser” parts are often the most essential. And when one part hurts, the whole body feels it. When one part thrives, the whole body rejoices.
No one is more important. No one is unnecessary.
In a world obsessed with comparison, status, and “main character energy,” this is a powerful reminder that real strength and meaning come from knowing your part and playing it well — together.
I’ve always loved how McConaughey delivers these kinds of truths — simple, deep, and human.
What do you think — do we need this kind of “body” mindset more than ever in today’s culture?
