@littlefishcpa@Rightworks_ Totally hear you on this! The choice boils down to either picking a service that handles everything for you or managing the hosting on your own. Each has its own set of pros and cons.
Verito for full management by them.
AWS and Azure for hosting on your own.
Our MSP community desperately needs your expertise! We can untangle the most complex tech challenge, but when it comes to financial strategy, we’re like cats chasing a laser pointer - all over the place! 👏🏽
Small announcement to all my twitter friends which is also an answer to “why have I not seen her around here much lately?”
My amazing colleague @em1beachgirl and I have launched a new firm.
Which - as you may know or imagine - is quite a time-intensive thing to do.
@cashflow_ch Kevin, you're spot on! It's becoming way harder to secure the organization's data especially having employees working everywhere/100% remotely
@seattle_tax@kylejohnsoncpa@mikelibbey_ Finding the sweet spot between security and usability is always a fun challenge. 😄 CoPilot is new, so risks are a bit unknown. But avoiding new tech altogether means staying behind in business! My advice? Go for it, but tread carefully with sensitive info at first. 👍
@AtlantaTax Uhh, that's a good one. I have a few:
1. UI (Make it simple and easy to navigate.)
2. Security or privacy concerns (where does their data live?)
3. Performance issues (while doing the demo, the screen gets stuck somewhere 😂)
4. Support responsiveness
Ashley Francis (@seattle_tax ) the #CPA shows how she automated #Accounting processes for her practice using #PowerAutomate 🔥🔥🔥
Includes #AI for data extraction🤖
#GPT for writing letters ✍

Accounting firm owner?
Do yourself a favor and hire these vendors:
@0h_look - runs an automation agency that helps build custom zaps & integrations.
@tech4cpa - runs an IT firm niched in the accounting space.
@B4Transparency - compiles salary data on the top accounting firms.
Now AI's writing phishing emails; guess my spam's gonna be smarter than me soon! 🤓
If you thought your inbox was a wild west before...hoo boy! 👀 Remember to keep your cybersecurity awareness game on point - no, not just once; it's a rinse-and-repeat thing!
