@Dave_J_Bryant@TheDemSlayer The constitution of UAR declared Gaza part of the land/nation of Palestine. It was preceded by the protectorate. I wasn’t talking history anyway, “doesn’t” is present tense. Any other tangents you want to go on to avoid accepting the fallacy of the original comparison?
@Wisdom_HQ Don’t take a job you don’t like the pay for? Tips are meant to be optional/discretionary. I’m under no obligation to pay anything more than what the bill says.
6 years of living in Texas and I've come to the conclusion that the no state income tax thing is basically a scam. The property taxes are so high that they negate any savings. We are still paying as many taxes in Texas as we would in California. You save on gas I guess.
Following the completion of an initial examination regarding a photograph published earlier today of an IDF soldier harming a Christian symbol, it was determined that the photograph depicts an IDF soldier operating in southern Lebanon.
The IDF views the incident with great severity and emphasizes that the soldier’s conduct is wholly inconsistent with the values expected of its troops.
The incident is being investigated by the Northern Command and is currently being addressed through the chain of command. Appropriate measures will be taken against those involved in accordance with the findings.
Furthermore, the IDF is working to assist the community in restoring the statue to its place.
The IDF is operating to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure established by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and has no intention of harming civilian infrastructure, including religious buildings or religious symbols.
It’s amazing to me how far AI has come, yet how far behind the AI companies still are on basic things like customer support. Had one of my worst ever experiences with @OpenAI . It must be good to have a product you can sell without caring about the customer, but it never lasts.
Days (weeks?) go by no response from support. Not a peep. So I reach out to sales instead, because I know they always respond. To be fair the sales lady was pretty good, but every option she has provided (unsurprisingly) requires spending more money with OpenAI.
Thought I was signing up for a free 30 day trial business account for one of my companies, got charged $6K, because apparently you can’t trial if you choose the annual billing option??. Anywho reached out to support first asking for a refund, then simply requesting some changes.
@zaudzarosh It’s not about who they align with, it’s about how much you depend on someone for security. If your main strategy for defense is “x” will protect me, because they have bases here and we sell oil in their currency and quietly support their friends you are a puppet.
@MrAdnanRashid I’m sure if that ever becomes a thing @MrAdnanRashid will tell us how all Ashaira and Maturidiyyah shouldn’t be a part of it, and how ahl al taqlid can’t hold any leadership positions. Make the sifat controversy and raful yadain our furqan. Thats the problem with Takfir
@MrAdnanRashid Humble advice from a much less learned and influential brother in Islam: Please re-evaluate your priorities again and reframe your discourse to the benefit of the Ummah.
@MrAdnanRashid Plenty of examples of this in Christian and Jewish texts as well. At a time when the ummah is already split and suffering, is this the best use of our time and abilities?
@Chainless_Slave@imranalfatih I think it’s unfair to put the US/Israel appointed Shah’s burden on the current regime. The war in Iran can be called defensive,. The only reason a defense was needed is their support of Palestine. Iran can be as safe as Riyadh in no time, if they adopt the same stance.
@Chainless_Slave@VanDijkAura@Goldstein69881 It’s ok to praise the Shia/Iran for what they are doing right and fair to call out the Sunni leaders for falling over each other to pander to the Zionist regime.
@Chainless_Slave@VanDijkAura@Goldstein69881 As you’ve rightly pointed out there is nuance to everything. Framing a question like this has inherent bias in it. It’s clearly evident that Iran is by far been the largest obstacle to Zionist projects in the Middle East, possibly closely followed by Qatar.
