@Jennifer55gt Here in So. California, a typical higher-end roadhouse with exceptional waiter/waitress interactions would reasonably justify the check total tax amount x 2 or roughly 16-18%. If you visit the location often (2-3 times/month), an even 20% is very fair for receiving good service.
