Colombia’s cocaine trade generated an estimated $16.5 billion in 2024, surpassing crude oil export revenues of roughly $15 billion, according to new research. The findings underscore the country's shrinking oil sector and growing economic challenges. #Colombia#Oil#EnergyMarkets #Geopolitics

People should remember Indian PM @narendramodi is coming to Australia soon; where #uranium exports to India will be on the Agenda!
Positive for ALL Aussie uranium companies!

@ResourceWorld@tripleonemetals Solid intercepts from Pirate Gold. 0.54% Cu Eq over 180.8m catches my attention. Crippleback could draw more exploration capital.
@AnStra14 Only four countries have mastered the Harmony System. 2,000 private firms in the supply chain shows real domestic integration. China's nuclear industry maturing fast.
4.8M oz M&I is a strong baseline. The A Zone near-surface potential could lower extraction costs meaningfully. But the stock sitting well off 52-week highs tells you what the market thinks right now.
I try to post the good and the bad in the sector. Bias towards the good for sure. Have a handful of trolls who follow and post nothing but the negative. What is the motivation? Mine is that I hold a bunch long and want profits. Always question the motivation. #Uranium
Under-the-radar copper-gold skarn/porphryr drill program in progress in Sonora, Mexico 🇲🇽
I like the phase II drilling plan, and the prospect of substantially growing the mineralized Cu-Au-Ag footprint both along strike and at depth.

Summer doldrums, nothing is as it seems. Dollar Cost Average. Supply this year is ~160 million pounds, demand is ~200. There will come a day when something breaks and triggers panic into the #uranium market. That is when you begin to sell.
Have a nice day.

@ResourceTalks Good advice on asking the downside case. Canadian permitting is a coin flip. Jurisdictions with predictable policy are pulling ahead while we stall. Optionality is essential.
@ira_joseph@ColumbiaUEnergy Data centers demanding firm power is a long-term bullish signal for uranium. Nuclear co-location should be straightforward but regulatory dysfunction keeps blocking it.
This seems like a pretty clear answer to "Why are hyperscalers choosing to build natural gas btm when solar and batteries are cheaper?"
It's because right now, btm (fastest way on to power), natural gas is cheaper

@PTBCanadian@MarkJCarney@timhodgsonmt Others build while we consult. Barakah went from concept to 4 operational reactors in a decade. We can't get a single mine through approval.
Falling costs of solar, wind and batteries mean that flexible, clean grids can deliver abundant power at lower prices—a big change in just a few years. Yet Canada lags its international peers deploying these technologies.

Greenland's ice loss is decelerating.
NASA's GRACE satellites track the full ice sheet, including snowfall, melt, runoff, and ice discharge into the ocean.
That full record doesn't show accelerating loss, as claimed, rather it shows decelerating loss. And if the trend continues, recovery comes next.
There is no runaway collapse, no tipping point deadline. Activists warn Greenland is melting into oblivion, but the satellite data say the opposite.
