@VisualFidelity Its not that simple. Turning some of these off completely ruin the HDR presentation and how the creator intended the game to look so it is a big trade off, film grain off and on examples here notice when its off you lose HDR impact.
@HDRgameAnalysis You definitely wanna try this on a few different scenes I tried three that I tested on my video and turning off film grain resulted in an extreme loss of HDR impact and also a slightly higher black floor. My guess is it was mastered with film grain ON intentionally.
@HDRgameAnalysis This might be just one example. I suggest keeping film grain ON otherwise you lose HDR highlights in a lot of scenes impact is now gone, example that crash scene on the water, moon drops all the way down to 1,000 nits from 10,000 nits. It it also compromises the HDR in other ways
@FomoReviews@High_Def_News It launched unfinished. The G5 was criticized by people way more than the G6. G5 was rightfully criticized and itโs not like it wasnโt public information. LG knew they had issues. That is what magnifies the G6โs problems you have them repeating the same mistakes once again.
Highly disagree. Nobody is selectively targeting LG they did this to themselves by releasing back to back undercooked units.
Btw all those things you mentioned got called out too but S95F hgig removal wasnโt launch it was after launch. The perception right now is LG is getting picked on but thats not the case, they are getting the criticism they deserve as a large company releasing unfinished products period.
S95H (right) after proper correction is the most complete image quality of any TV I've tested. The F (left) was great for low luminance and the H improves on it more. While the F colors can get "close" the H simply outclasses the F in many areas. Least flawed TV I've tested.
@Jennifergalatis This demo is insane on QD-OLED & RGB LCDs, my W-OLEDs were struggling to keep up with the color luminance here, your work continues to amaze me! Everyone reading this post should definitely check this video out and support Jennifer if you enjoy this content!
