SPLC allegedly "manufactured racism" to justify their existence by funneling money through shell corporations to hate group informants/organizers to keep them afloat and then lying to their donors. The feds, ostensibly, use paid informants to infilatrate, surveil and collect information on hate groups to dismantle and/or prosecute them.
